The Ocean City Drawbridge, also known as The Harry W. Kelley Drawbridge or the Route 50 Bridge in Ocean City, Maryland, opened in 1942 and is managed by the Maryland State Highway Administration. The drawbridge, which averages passage of 21,000 cars per day, typically opens twice per hour. The bridges namesake was the owner of the Beach Plaza Hotel and the Bo-Con Apartments, as well as Mayor of Ocean City from 1970 – 1985.
